The dollhouse miniature universe is populated by so many interesting people. Some of the most fascinating are the collectors, and Huguette Clark is one of the most intriguing of them all. Besides owning an outstanding collection of dolls and miniatures she was a functional recluse and endured two FBI investigations.

When Kathleen Savage Browning announced the acquisition of The Catherine Palace, I was pleased that a work by Robert Dawson would be at the Kentucky Gateway Museum Center. I run across his name often, when searching for article ideas and thought this would be a good time to learn more about him.
